Title:
TORQUE DETECTING MECHANISM
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2003344189
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a torque detecting mechanism capable of directly detecting a relative rotation amount between an input shaft and an output shaft as a torque.

An opposite face 7 on the input shaft side is formed vertically to an axis of the input shaft 2, and torque sensors 9 and 10 for detecting a magnetic flux are installed on positions shifted by 180° in phase provided on the face 7 on the input shaft side. An opposite face 8 on the output shaft side of an output shaft 3 has such an inclination as to form a pair of inclined sections 13 and 14. Magnets 15 and 16 for detecting torque are installed on intermediate positions on the inclined sections 13 and 14. A parallel part 17 in parallel with the opposite face 7 on the input shaft side is formed on a position other than the positions of the magnets 15 and 16, and a temperature compensating magnet 18 is installed on the parallel part 17. A temperature compensating sensor 19 for detecting the magnetic flux from the magnet 18 is provided on a position opposite to the parallel section 17 on the opposing face 7 on the input shaft side.
