To provide a torque driver preventing the occurrence of a twist of a communication wire, by using a limit switch as a fastening completion-detecting switch.
This torque driver is constituted of: a main support shaft 11 for fixing a grip part 22 to a rear end part of a body case part 10 and installing a bit in the body case part 10; a toggle mechanism for transmitting fastening force applied to the grip part 22 to the main support shaft 11 and releasing the transmission of the fastening force to the main support shaft 11 when a toggle seat 19 moves forward in the axial direction to a toggle rest 18 when the fastening force reaches a preset torque value; a switch holding member 30 arranged in the grip part 22 and freely rotatable to the grip part 22; a limit switch 34 installed in the switch holding member 30; the communication wire 36 connected to the limit switch 34 via the switch holding member 30; and a switch operation mechanism for operating the limit switch 34 on the axis of the body case part 10 by expanding and outputting a detected moving distance by detecting the movement in the axial direction of the toggle seat 19.
