Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a torque limiter for high-speed rotation improved in durability and having a high operating torque accuracy when an over-load is applied by maintaining the idling condition till a driving source side motor stops when an over-load is generated and a driven side device is locked to securely stop the resetting operation and to prevent the generation of abrasion in each sliding part.
SOLUTION: A slide plate 7 is provided with a second pocket 12 for housing a ball 5 dropped out of a first pocket 6 when cutting the torque transmission to prevent the work of the energizing force of a compression coil to the ball 5. A torque transmission reset preventing mechanism 13 for preventing a reset to the condition that the ball 5 is engaged with the first pocket 6 by regulating the movement of the slide plate 7 in a direction of a hub flange 2a after housing the ball 5 in the second pocket 12 when cutting the torque transmission is provided between the slide plate 7 and the hub flange 2a.
