To provide a total heat exchanging element paper that is excellent in thermal conductivity, moisture permeability, and paper strength.SOLUTION: A total heat exchanging element paper has beaten cellulose fiber, synthetic fiber and a moisture absorbent. The total heat exchanging element paper contains, as the synthetic fiber, 2-25 mass% of a sheath-core type composite fiber that has a resin with a melting point of 160°C or higher as a core component and polyethylene as a sheath component, with a fiber diameter of 6.0 μm or less.SELECTED DRAWING: None
