Abstract:
PURPOSE: To dispense with a change of a mold even when a size of a container is altered and to handle containers, which have different shapes, surely by photographing a mounting condition of the containers on a conveyor and arranging the containers in the predetermined direction by a robot.
CONSTITUTION: A container aligning device 1 is provided with the first conveyor 2, the second conveyor 5 adjacent to the first conveyor 2, and a CCD camera 10 photographing a mounting condition of a container 3 on the first conveyor 2. It is computed what degree the container 3 photographed by the CCD camera 10 needs to be rotated, and the container 3 is arranged in the predetermined direction and is transferred from the first conveyor 2 onto the second conveyor 5 by the robot 4. The first conveyor 2 is movable to the inclined position and to the horizontal position, and conveys the container 3, whose cross section is not circular, in the horizontal position, while conveys the container 3, whose cross section is circular, in the inclined position. In this way, universality of a container aligning device can be improved.
