PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toughened curable resin composition.SOLUTION: The curable composition includes at least one curable resin, a surface-modified nanoparticle, and a rubber nano-domain. The curable resin includes an epoxy resin. The surface-modified nanoparticle includes an inorganic core and at least one organic modifying agent coupled to a surface of the inorganic core. The rubber domain includes a core-shell rubber nanoparticle.
