Title:
TOXIC GAS SUPPRESSION REFUSE INCINERATOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2701618
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To increase the mixing ability of gas and to perform further effective decomposition and removal of a toxic material by a method wherein a dog leg-shaped deformation part to cause disturbance to occur to the flow of exhaust gas is arranged to a refuse incinerator outlet flue part.
CONSTITUTION: An incinerator outlet flue part 18 comprises a re-combustion chamber 16 and a gas cooling chamber 17, and a deformation part 19 in the shape of a dog leg is located between the re-combustion chamber 16 and the gas cooling chamber 17. Thus, the flow of gas to the re-combustion chamber 16 is disturbed and the mixing ability of gas is improved. Unburnt gas generated mainly from a combustion stage 4 is sufficiently mixed in the re-combustion chamber 16 with exhaust gas from a main combustion part 5 and a toxic material is decomposed for removal. In this embodiment, the dog leg-shaped deformation part 19 of the flue part 18 is formed such that it is inclined in a direction extending at right angles with the flow of refuse but even when it is inclined in any direction, a similar effect is produced.
