In order to provide a transaction system with which various products can be transacted, this transaction system has: a product information storage unit that stores information about products being transacted; a product information presentation processing unit that transmits the product information stored in the product information storage unit to a user terminal used by a user, and causes the product information to be displayed thereon; a balance of payments information storage unit that stores the earned points and the disbursed points for each user; a transaction processing unit that receives requests for product transactions from user terminals and uses information about the number of points that has been set for the product to update the earned points and the disbursed points in the balance of payments information storage unit, thereby carrying out the transaction; and a billing processing unit that uses the user's earned points and disbursed points stored in the balance of payments information storage unit to determine that user's position with respect to all users, and uses the result of that determination to calculate a usage fee.
