PURPOSE: The titled compsn. prepd. by compounding sulfochlorinated polyolefin (hereinafter referred to as SCP) latex obtd. by dispersing a soln. of SCP in an org. solvent in the presence of an emulsifier in water and then distilling out the org. solvent, with a variety of additives.
CONSTITUTION: The titled compsn. is obtd by adding a metal oxide such as MgO, a phenolic primary antioxidant such as tetrakis-{methylene-3-(3',5'-di-t- butyl-4'-hydroxyphenyl)propionato}methane and a light stabilizer such as 2-hydroxy-4-n-octoxybenzophenone to SCP latex obtd. by dispersing a soln. of SCP in an org. solvent in the presence of an emulsifier such as polyoxyethylene alkylphenyl ether sulfate in an amt. of 0.1W20pts.wt. per 100pts.wt. SCP in water and then distilling out the org. solvent.
