PURPOSE: To achieve a sufficient motion of legs and increase in walking distance without requiring the enlargement of the apparatus and the changing of the direction thereof.

CONSTITUTION: This training-supporting apparatus for recovering walking function is provided with a main guide member 1 with a specified length supported at a specified height, a main running member 3 which runs along the main guide member 1 and an arm member 4 which is supported on the main guide member 1 of the main running member 3 free to rotate at one end thereof while being supported with a support member 5 having a wheel 6 at the other end. It also has a human body support member 7 which is on the arm member 4 to support the body of a patient, a sub guide member 8 which is attached to the perimeter of the main guide member 1 to provide a walking path of the patient in the perimeter and a sub running member 9 which moves following the arm member 4 and runs together with the main running member 1 along the sub guide member 8. The arm member 4 rotates along the sub guide member 9 at both ends of the main guide member 1 and the human body support member 7 is changed in direction between both the sides of the main guide member 1.
