Abstract:
PURPOSE:To prevent a double payment by issuing an alarm when it is discriminated that the same data as inputted customer identification data and payment contents data is stored in a storage means. CONSTITUTION:When the written claim of telephone charges is handed to the reception window of a telephone office, for example, a receiptor inputs a telephone number and the month and charges to be claimed based on the written claim with a keyboard 1. A CPU 10 searches a memory 13 based on the inputted telephone number data and data for said month and checks whether the same data exists or not. And if the same data exists, the CPU 10 decides that it is the double payment and displays an error message on an indicator 11. Thus the receipter knows that the data, which is going to be registered, is the one about the charges which has been already payed and stops registering the data.
