Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide very easy disposal of band-shaped fragile articles carried out if they are broken in transferring and delivering the band-shaped fragile articles such as ceramic sheet through an endless belt type transfer passage.
CONSTITUTION: A sensor 7 which detects breakage of a band-shaped fragile article A, and an adhesive tape delivering means which delivers an adhesive tape 8 with its adhesive surface facing an endless belt 4 are formed near the end of a transfer passage. When a sensor 7 detects breakage of the band-shaped fragile article A, the adhesive tape 8 is pressed against the endless belt 4 by a pressing means 11, the adhesive tape 8 is wound around an adhesive tape winding roll 20 to recall a useless top end of the band-shaped fragile article A by the adhesive tape 8 automatically.
