PURPOSE: To promote the improvement of machining work efficiency, by providing one set of transfer lines, which respectively arrange machining device groups in the outside, to be arranged separating a predetermined space in order to form a worker's passage and connecting the end parts of the transfer lines through conveyer systems.
CONSTITUTION: A set of transfer lines 32, 34, which are separated by a predetermined distance partitioning a worker's passage 36 therebetween, connect their both ends through conveyers 38a, 38b constituting a closed line, and work stations S1WS31, for mounting and removing a workpiece and for its machining work, are provided on said closed line. While the transfer lines 32 and 34 arrange the first W fourth machining units 40aW40d being positioned outside the passage 36, and the machining is respectively performed by each machining device 52aW52v. In this way, a worker, who permits the effective machining to be performed by effectively utilizing space in a work shop while a visual check to be performed as a whole in the passage, is able to promptly correspond to a device trouble or the like.
