To vary only strength of adhesion of an attached transfer tape without changing width between both ends of a transfer medium.
In the transfer tool, a transfer part 2 is formed of a plurality of projecting parts 2A divided relative to width of the transfer medium M, and is constituted so that a gap between the projecting parts 2A can be expanded and contracted, and also the projecting parts 2A may be always positioned at both edge parts in the width direction of the transfer medium M when the gap is expanded and contracted. Therefore, even when space between the projecting parts is changed and the strength of the adhesion is varied, the projecting parts exist at both edge parts in the width direction of the transfer medium, so that both the edge parts in the width direction of the transfer medium is transferred to an object to be transferred. Therefore, only the strength of the adhesion can be varied without changing the width between both ends of the transfer medium.
