Abstract:
To provide a transformer and a reactor which uses FINEMET (R) and are compact and excellent in efficiency and whose cooling efficiency is high and insulation strength is large.
A circular FINEMET core 1 is pinched by insulation plates 2 on its both sides and supported by a cylindrical insulator 4. A stud coil 3 allows the core 1 to be pinched by the insulation plates 2 and fixed/supported thereby, and works as a coil. Because of such a structure, a compact and efficient reactor can be realized. A secondary stud coil is provided for a pulse transformer.
