Abstract:
To provide the title transformer wherein the installation area and the quantity of cooling medium are not increased despite the increase in the cooling effect while enabling the rise in temperature to be reduced while the decline in performance to be avoided.
A medium cooling system 3 is installed on the upper part of a tank 1 containing a transformer main body 2 and sealing the cooling medium through the intermediary of a connecting pipe 8 feeding the heated cooling medium from the tank 1 to the medium cooling system 3 as well as another connecting pipe 18 feeding the cooling down medium from the medium cooling system 3 to the tank 1.
