Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a transfusion vessel for allowing an easy without any need of a troublesome operation, ensuring freedom from a danger of spilling chemicals, reducing the quantity of parts, and having capability of mixing chemicals with a solvent in sterile state.
CONSTITUTION: This vessel is constituted of a transfusion vessel assembly body 1 and a casing 2 for protecting the body 1 in sterile state. The body 1 comprises a solvent vessel 3, a cylindrical support member 4, a double-headed needle 5, and a chemical vessel 6. The needle 5 and the vessel 6 are inserted in the member 4 in this order, and supported on the cylindrical wall thereof. The vessel 3 has a port 11 communicated with the vessel 6 at one end, and a chemical takeout port 14 at the other end. In addition, the member 4 surrounds the communication port 11, and is fixed to the vessel 3 concentrically with the port 11. In this case, the chemical takeout port 14 of the vessel 3 may be exposed outside the casing 2.
