Abstract:
PURPOSE:To decrease the cost and weight of a transmission device and make it compact, by providing a centrifugal high hear clutch beside a fluid coupling in the case of the transmission device which is shaped as a thick disk. CONSTITUTION:A centrifugal high gear clutch 16 is provided beside a fluid coupling 11 in the case 1A of a transmission device, which is shaped as a thick disk. A motive power cutoff clutch 13 is provided in the case 1A, radially inside the high gear clutch 16. As a result, a servomechanism for controlling the high gear clutch 16 is not needed. For this reason, the cost and weight of the transmission device are decreased and it is made compact.
