Title:
TRANSMISSION-RECEPTION MODULE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS6488279
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To make a module small in size, light in weight and highly reliable, by providing bias voltage drive control circuits in the respective bias circuits of a transmission unit and a reception unit so as to subject each bias voltage to ON-OFF control and thereby to dispense with an RF switching unit.

CONSTITUTION: An RF monitor element 12 provided between a duplexer element 13 and an antenna element 11 detects a transmission calibration signal or a reception calibration signal. Bias voltage drive control circuits 31 and 32 provided for a transmission element 15 and a reception element 14 respectively apply ON-OFF control to bias voltages of the transmission element 15 and the reception element 14 by control signals given to a transmission-side control terminal 35 and a reception-side control terminal 36 respectively on the basis of a detection signal of the RF monitor element 12. Thereby the bias voltages of some or all amplifiers that the transmission element 15 and the reception element 14 have respectively are controlled and these amplifiers are to have an RF switching function. Therefore an RF Switching unit can be dispensed within the construction of a transmission-reception module.
