To provide a transparent gas barrier film causing no printing failure on a top coat layer and maintaining stable and excellent gas barrier property (water vapor permeability and oxygen permeability) without dispersion regardless of any measuring place and measuring time between manufacturing lots, during one manufacturing lot, after boiling treatment and after retorting treatment when forming the transparent gas barrier film as a laminated film.
The transparent gas barrier film is formed with at least a metal oxide thin film layer and the top coat layer in sequence on one surface of a plastic film. The metal oxide thin film layer is formed as an aluminum oxide thin film layer, and the top coat layer contains at least a polyurethane-based resin and a carbodiimide compound.
