Abstract:
To provide a transparent resin composition which can vary a refractive index in a broad range and can be used as transparent materials for various optical use excellent in transparency and heat-resistance.
The transparent resin composition is obtained by polymerizing a mixture comprising 25-75 mass% of a polymer component (A) having methyl methacrylate as a main component and 75-25 mass% of a monomer component (B) which produces a polymer having a higher refractive index than that of the polymer component (A), wherein the refractive index can be adjusted by varying a mixing ratio of the polymer component (A) and the monomer component (B) within the above range.
