Title:
TRANSPONDER MOUNTED IN TIRE, ITS MOUNTING METHOD, AND TRANSPONDER-EQUIPMENT TIRE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3715005
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transponder mounted in tire that can be freely mounted on existing tires, its mounting method, and a transponder-equipped tire.
SOLUTION: This transponder 1 comprises a transponder main body provided with an elastic, heat-insulating bonding part, and is bonded to the inner peripheral surface of a pneumatic tire 3 via the bonding part. The transponder 1 can thus be easily bonded to any existing tire 3, and since the bonding part absorbs the impact from the tire 3 and relive its effect on the transponder 1, environmental conditions at the time of tire manufacture need not be involved in the durability requirements of the transponder 1, with the result that the transponder 1 itself has a significantly smaller chance of trouble than conventional ones.
