Abstract:
To provide a connection method of a transporting pipe and the transporting pipe which can improve the reliability of connecting pipe end parts of the transporting pipes to each other.SOLUTION: A transporting pipe connection method which connects a socket part 4 and a spigot part 5 of a transporting pipe 2 made of thermoplastic resin includes a process of inserting the spigot part 5 to the socket part 4 to perform temporary connection and a process of subsequently causing a heat generating medium 6 embedded in the socket part 4 to melt the surrounding thermoplastic resin by induction heating to thermally fuse the socket part 4 and the spigot part 5. Therein, the socket part 4 allows the heat generating medium 6 to be embedded in the thermoplastic resin. The circumference of the heat generating medium 6 includes a melting part 7 consisting of a thermoplastic resin which has higher expansibility when melting than that of thermoplastic resin of other portion.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
