To provide a trap siphon drainage apparatus by which siphon drainage can be automatically initiated even when a water level in a storage tank is lower than a top part of a siphon tube and manufacturing cost can be suppressed.
A trap siphon drainage apparatus 1 comprises: a siphon tube 3 and a trap tube 4 jointed in sequence to drain water from a storage tank 2; and a self-priming tube 5 separated and suspended from a joint part 42 of the trap tube 4. Even when a water level L1 in the storage tank 2 is lower than a top part 3c of the siphon tube 3, water W flows into the siphon tube 3 as long as the water level L1 is higher than an inner tube top part 3b of the siphon tube 3, causing water sealing of the trap tube 4 and the self-priming tube 5. Then, air A1 in the siphon tube 3 is sucked out by the falling sealing water in the self-priming tube 5, causing negative pressure, increasing water flow rate, and water sealing inside the upper end part of a suspend part 33. The falling sealing water causes the air A1 to be exhausted, further increasing the water flow rate to fill up inside the tube with water. Accordingly, the siphon drainage can be automatically initiated, and also suction of the air A1 by using an air suction device becomes unnecessary.
