Abstract:

To provide a travel control device which effectively prevents theft of a construction machine without increasing a number of communication paths connecting a revolving superstructure and an undercarriage.SOLUTION: In a travel control device, a first controller of a revolving superstructure is connected to a second controller of an undercarriage via serial communication paths. The first controller permits start-up of an engine on the basis of at least authentication of data input by the revolving superstructure, and is capable of transmitting information related to actuation of a transmission of an undercarriage, that is input by a shift member, to the second controller via the serial communication paths. The first controller permits output of a command for switching the transmission to a travelable state, to the second controller via the serial communication paths, on the basis of at least authentication of data input by the revolving superstructure.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
