To provide a way of travel full of variations such as a vertical travel, an inverted travel, an overhead ceiling travel, a slantwise travel and a horizontal travel by causing a toy with magnet wheels to travel along a track formed out of a magnetic substance.
The wheels 1 of a travel toy equipped with a drive mechanism are made of magnet, and steel plates 2 having such a cross sectional form as allowing the most effective action of magnetism against the derailing of the wheels 1, or any type of a magnetic substance 2 attracting another magnet are continuously laid in parallel on a travel board 3 of a non-magnetic substance at positions corresponding to each wheel 1, thereby forming a magnetic track 3. In this case, when the toy travels with the magnet wheels 1 in contact with the magnetic substance 2, a problem about a nose or friction appears. The wheels 1 or tires in contact with the track 3 are, therefore, covered with thin rubber or other soft materials to such an extent as not causing a drop in the action of magnetism. Alternatively, the surface of the magnetic track (travel board) 3 may be covered with a soft material used as a print in common. As a result, a novel way of travel full of variations can be enjoyed.
