A traveling route 2 for the ceiling traveling vehicle comprises two rails 24L, 24R suspended from the ceiling and arranged to have a predetermined distance between them and joint members 25 for linking the undersurfaces of the two rails 24L, 24R. A plurality of the joint members 25 are arranged at predetermined intervals in the traveling direction of the traveling route 2. Fall preventing members 26 are installed between the joint members 25.
