PURPOSE: To provide the traveling toy, which can surely rapidly turn to left or right, exclude an obstacle or ride over it by linking both front and rear vehicle bases so as to be bent for getting both front and rear wheels close while facing each other, and respectively independently driving both the front and rear wheels.
CONSTITUTION: A front vehicle base 14 and a rear vehicle base 16 are mutually divided and linked so as to be freely bent with a core member 22 as a center by fitting the shaft member 22 pivotally supported at the rear vehicle base 16 into the groove part of a linking member fixed on the front vehicle base 14. Further, left side front wheel 10a and rear wheel 12a are driven through left side gear mechanisms 31-37 by a first motor M1, and right side front wheel 10a and rear wheel 12a are driven through right side gear mechanisms 31-37 by a second motor M2. Then, the cam follower part of the linking member is driven through series of gear mechanisms by a third motor, and the front vehicle base 14 and the rear vehicle base 16 are forcedly bent. Thus, the vehicle can rapidly turn to right or left or ride over the obstacle.
