Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the partial abrasion of a thread guide hole due to the sliding friction of a fiber to elongate the life of an eyelet member for facilitating fine winding work by rotating the eyelet member where the thread guide hole is formed so as to pass through the fiber.
SOLUTION: A cam roll 16 in a cam box 15 is rotatedly driven by a rotary driving source, and a traverse guide 18 to engage with the cam groove 17 of the cam roll 16 therefore reciprocates along slit 14 in a winding width direction. A roving strand S to pass through the thread guide hole 19 of the eyelet member 20 is thereby wound as it is traversed. The roving strand S is traversed to mutually rub against both the right and left faces of the periphery of the thread guide hole 19 of the eyelet member 20, but the eyelet member 20 to abut against a rail member 23 on its outer periphery mutually rotates in a regular and a reverse direction with the reciprocative movement of the traverse guide 18. Thus the roving strand S uniformly rubs against the whole periphery of the thread guide hole 19 to prevent the partial abrasion of the strand guide hole 19.
