In this traverse drum 24, the traverse groove 91 and a guide groove 92 are formed on the outer peripheral face of the drum 24. The traverse groove 91 lets yarn 20 traverse, and the guide groove 92 guides the yarn 20 in the outside of the traverse groove 91 into the groove 91. The traverse groove 91 includes a groove wall 81 for traverse and a groove wall 82 on the opposite side. The groove wall 81 for traverse comes into contact with the yarn 20 in the traverse groove 91 when winding the yarn 20 around a winding bobbin, and the groove wall 82 on the opposite side is positioned on the opposite side to the groove wall 81 for traverse in the direction of groove width. The guide groove 92 is formed to be connected with the groove wall 82 on the opposite side.
