PURPOSE: To improve the quality of surface and simplify/eliminate a pickling treatment stage and a surface flaw removing stage at the time of removing the surface scale and surface flaw of a band-shaped metallic body.
CONSTITUTION: In the treatment of the band-shaped metallic body, pretreatment by mechanical means is executed, successively the thickness of ≥20μm is grinding removed with super high pressure water and grinding treatment that the roughness of finished surface is finished in Rmax ≤30μm is executed. Then, heavy duty grinding treatment that the thickness of ≥20μm is grinding removed is executed with a grinder and successively surface conditioning that the roughness of finished surface is finished in Rmax ≤30μm is executed with super high pressure water.
