Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably treat raw water over a long period of time while preventing the formation of calcium fluoride scale at the concentrating chamber of an electric desalting device, at the time of treating the raw water mixed with recovered water containing a fluorine ion by using the electric desalting device.
SOLUTION: In the method for treating the fluorine-containing water by supplying the water to the electric desalting device 4, the treatment is executed so that the relation between the calcium concn. [Ca] (mg/L) and fluorine concn. [F] (mg/L) of the water supplied to the electric desalting device 4 and the water recovering ratio (produced water quantity/supplied water quantity) of the electric desalting device may satisfy the formula: [Ca]×[F]2/{1-[R]}<50.
