Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide the subject method capable of efficiently manufacturing product(s) such as salt-free natural gas or LNG from a salt-rich hydrocarbon- contg. gas, and also designed not to cause trouble in plant operation, esp. due to salt presence.
CONSTITUTION: A vapor phase (G-1) separated from a salt-contg. hydrocarbon- contg. gas is recovered, and the resultant oil phase (C-1) is introduced into a distillation column and distilled. In this case, depending on the temperature of the oil phase (C-1), (i) the oil phase (C-1) is subjected to salt removal and then introduced into the distillation column, or (ii) the oil phase (C-1) is directly introduced into the distillation column and a side-cut distillate is drawn out of the distillation column to conduct a salt removal treatment, followed by returning the distillate to the distillation column.
