To provide a treatment method for contaminated soil not generating a problem of clogging of a pipe and an apparatus due to deposition of a dust component by removing a dust component contained in a thermal desorption gas in technology for heating the soil contaminated by an organic contaminant to clean it.

In the treatment method for the contaminated soil, the soil contaminated by the organic contaminant is heated by a soil heating apparatus and the organic contaminant is evaporated from the soil to remove it as the thermal desorption gas. The dust component contained in the thermal desorption gas is removed in a gas transfer rout in a downstream side than the soil heating apparatus.
