Abstract:

To provide a water treatment device capable of effectively and sufficiently stirring the whole of a liquid in a tank.

The water treatment device is for removing a contaminant from a liquid that has been introduced in a tank 15 with the contaminant contained therein. The tank 15 comprises a flow-generating area 49 wherein a flow is generated to mobilize the liquid and a removing area 50 wherein the contaminant is removed from the liquid, both areas 49, 50 connected to each other allowing the liquid at least to flow from one area to the other. A discharging nozzle to discharge nanobubble-containing water produced by a nanobubble generator 51 or micronanobubble-containing water produced by a micronanobubble generator 52 and a diffuser 19 for discharging gas are installed in the flow-generating area 49. Carriers 16 having a pore and having immorbilized microorganisms on their surfaces and made of porous polyvinyl alcohol are disposed in the removing area 50.
