Abstract:

To provide a treatment method of waste water which is capable of increasing the concentration of methane gas obtained by methane fermentation in treatment of organic waste water and also fixing a recovered nitrogen component as a useful material having a high additive value.

The treatment method of the liquid organic waste which includes a methane fermentation process for recovering and removing the carbon component contained in the liquid organic waste and an ammonia stripping process for recovering and removing the ammonia component included in the waste and comprises reacting ammonia water containing the recovered ammonia component and carbon dioxide generated in the methane fermentation process and recovering ammonia carbonate or ammonia hydrogencarbonate or both thereof and the treatment system for the liquid organic waste, are provided.
