Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prepare the subject body lotion having a short separation time, providing a fresh feeling, excellent in an esthetic visual effect and useful as a preparation for a body, cosmetics, etc., by including upper oil phase containing a volatile silicone, a middle silicone phase and a lower aqueous phase.
CONSTITUTION: The objective body lotion comprises (A) an upper oil phase including a volatile silicone, preferably of 10-60 wt.%, of the formula [(n) is 3-8] such as cyclopentadimethylsiloxane, further a lipophilic and/or water-soluble cosmetically or dermatologically active ingredient and one or more kinds of vegetable oil, (B) a middle silicone layer, preferably of 10-55%, including the volatile silicone and (C) a lower aqueous phase, preferably of 40-80 wt.%.
