Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a triazole derivative useful as an insecticide and a nematocide capable of controlling various noxious insects, especially aphides and tetranychids without adversely affecting crops.
CONSTITUTION: The compound is expressed by formula I {R1 is alkyl; X is H, halogen, alkyl, alkoxy, alkylthio, NO2, CN or CF3; (m) is 1-5; Y is halogen, NO2, alkyl, alkoxy, alkylthio, alkylsulfinyl, alkylsulfonyl, alkenyl, alkynyl, formula IV [A is 0, S, alkylene, vinylene, ethynylene, etc. ; (k) is 0 or 1; Q is CH or N; R2 is H, halogen, alkyl, alkoxy, CF3 or 0CF3; (j) is 1-5], etc.; (m) is 2-5}, e.g. 3-(2-chlorophenyl)-5-(2chloro-3-nitrophenyl)-1-methyl-1H-1,2,4-triazole. This compound is obtained by reacting an N-acyl(thio)imidate derivative expressed by formula II (W is 0 or S; L is alkyl) with a hydrazine derivative expressed by formula III in an inert solvent.
