To provide a trigger type liquid jet unit capable of preventing damage of first and second engagement projections caused by erroneously, strongly and rearwardly pulling a trigger in the engagement state in the trigger type liquid jet unit which makes the trigger impossible to be rearwardly pulled by the closure of a liquid delivery passage caused by turning of a nozzle cap in a reverse direction and by the descent of a stopper member by which a first engagement part of the stopper member is engaged with a second engagement part of the trigger.

The first engagement projection 13 is auxiliarily provided on a rear part lower surface of a first projection plate 22 rearwardly projected from the stopper member 12 to make it engageable with a rear surface of the second engagement projection 14. The first projection plate 22 is elastically deformed by forced operation of the trigger 9 for rearward pulling to release the engagement.
