To provide a sliding door system which facilitates opening and closing by making the opening and closing of other doors in combination smooth by opening and closing one door and provides a large opening equivalent to about two doors.

The first door 1, the second door 2 and the third door 3 which are mounted in a slidable manner to three rails 4a, 4b, 4c which are arranged side by side in parallel are contained, and the second door 2 situated midway has rollers 5, 6 which rotate around vertical shafts at the front and rear ends is provided. The rollers 5, 6 are interlocked by endless bands 7, a plate 8 is arranged horizontally which contacts the roller 5 in such a condition that it receives frictional force on the side of the first door 1, and a plate 9 is formed horizontally which contacts the other roller 6 in such a manner that it receives frictional force on the side of the third door 3.
