To make control possible for interruption of raising or reversing for a window glass by a method wherein a ring spring is interposed between a driving body on the electric motor side and a driven body on the output shaft side, and the driving body is made thereby available for being reduced in speed while motive power is transmitted by slippage occurring between the driving body and the electric motor.
A ring spring 9 is interposed between a driving body 3 and a driven body 11, and control is made easy with time for slipping between a worm 5 and a worm wheel 4 extended. The ring spring 9 also functions as a cushioning material when a foreign substance is caught. When the ring spring 9 is expanded to its maximum opening, contact is made at three points of the end 8 and the outer circumference of the ring spring 9 and the inner circumferential face of the worm wheel 4, and thereby dispersion of stress is made. Therefore, miniaturization becomes possible for a coil spring. Furthermore, the degree of deceleration for a window glass and stress expected on pinching by the glass can be designed, based on friction force and set load of the ring spring 9. Thereby, control for reversing the window glass can be made easily, depending on time for slippage of the worm 5 and a tension plate.
