Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide means that enables replacement of a liner by manpower without using equipment such as a crane when a cast-iron pipe of a small diameter with an inner diameter of 50-100 mm is subjected to the centrifugal casting, enables centering correction of the liner previously as for the centering of the liner after the replacement and just bolting down, and facilitates centering and replacement of the liner of a trough with good workability.SOLUTION: A trough for centrifugal casting 20 comprises a chute 21 for guiding molten metal (a) from ladles 13, 14, a chute case 22 for supporting the chute 21, and a liner 23 fixed to the chute case 22 and guiding the molten metal (a) in a mold 11. The liner 23 is fixed by bolt and nut fastening to the chute case 22 through flanges 24, 25, and has a length inserted from one end of the mold 11 connected to the chute 21 and reaching the other end.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
