Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a trunk room device offering higher safety permitting easy unlock of a striker and a latch by a child even with a small force and a low operating ability from the inside of a dark trunk room.
SOLUTION: With respect to a trunk room device with which a striker in a trunk lid can be disengaged from a latch 5 by operating an open lever 2 inside the trunk room by a cable 7 coupled to a key cylinder or to a driver's cab and by releasing the linkage between the latch 5 and the hook lever 4 coupled to the open lever 2, an operating portion operable from the inside of the trunk room for the open lever 2 is provided near the coupling portion of the key rod 8 of the open lever 2 or near the coupling portion of the cable 7, and a luminous seal 12 is adhered, which indicates the operating procedure for the operating portion with visually displaying means such as fluorescent color or the like in a dark room.
