Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tube coupling which can install a come-off preventing ring at an end part of a tube material using a simple apparatus, can reduce its cost, can have excellent durability, can make the overall coupling small, and to provide a method of its application.
SOLUTION: An end part T1 of a tube material T is softened by heating. The softened end part T1 of the tube material T is inserted into the come-off preventing ring 30. The end part T1 of the tube material T is expanded by an expanding core 50. An engaging part 35 of the come-off preventing ring 30 is easily cut into the expanded soft end part T1. When the end part T1 of the tube material T is cooled, the end part T1 of the tube material T is hardened together with the engaging part 35 of the come-off preventing ring 30 in a state of being cut into the end part T1.
