To provide a tube cutter that cuts a shaped long and thin synthetic-resin tube in a width direction while supplying the tube in a longitudinal direction and keeps a cut surface perpendicular to the longitudinal direction.
The tube cutter 10 includes: a tube holding cylinder 12 holding a tube 30 and having a cutting groove 12c; a rotating ring 14 provided on the outer periphery of the tube holding cylinder 12 so as to be rotated; a rotating ring drive part 16 for rotating the rotating ring 14; and a cutting blade 15 attached to the rotating ring 14. A box 11 stores and retains the tube holding cylinder 12, the rotating ring 14, the rotating ring drive part 16 and the cutting blade 15. The box 11 is moved by a moving body drive part 19 at the same speed as the speed of supplying the tube 30 in a direction (D2) same as the direction (D1) of supplying the tube 30.
