Abstract:
PURPOSE: To make it possible to easily convert a progressing direction even in a narrower area in a tunnel, to ensure better earth efficiency following the lower circle condition of a tunnel and, at the same time, to prevent a frame from excessive load.
CONSTITUTION: A cutter boom 2, etc., are mounted on a frame 1 and, at the same time, a plurality of traveling devices 3A and 3B are arranged to the bottom of the frame 1 in the front and rear directions so that they are capable of turning. At least one part of the traveling devices 3A and 3B is borne on the frame 1 and every direction in the progressing direction so that it is capable of oscillation. While, outrigger jacks 15 lifting the traveling devices 3A and 3B from an earth surface as a unit together therewith are arranged to the frame 1.
