Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tunnel monitoring device which alleviates a burden on a tunnel managing person who determines which compartment is a target for water discharging in case of fire.
SOLUTION: The tunnel monitoring device is comprised of water discharge-target compartment selecting means 54a to 54e, a water discharging instructing means 52, a control means, and discharge-target compartment recommending means provided for the selecting means 54b, 54c. The selecting means 54a to 54e are manually operated by the managing person so as to select a compartment targeted for water discharge when a fire breaks out in the tunnel in which a plurality of discharging valves are arranged corresponding to the respective compartments. The water discharging instructing means 52 instructs the discharging valve belonging to the discharge-target compartment selected by the selecting means 54a to 54e so as to discharge fire-extinguishing liquid therefrom. The control means determines which compartment should be a target for water discharging by executing an operational processing, based on information in the tunnel when the fire breaks out. The discharge-target compartment recommending means issues a notification of the discharge-target compartment determined by the operational processing by the control means, before selection of the manual operation. Thus the managing person can refer to the compartment to be discharged, which is recommended by the control means, before determination of the target compartment by himself.
