Abstract:
The present invention provides a turbine gland steam supply system by which there is no need to worry about contact due to contraction of gland steam when a turbine is switched from a high load operation to stop or a low load operation, and a method for operating the same. The gland steam supply system supplies gland steam to a gland steam portion of the turbine driven by high-temperature steam from a main steam line and is configured to be capable of supplying mixed steam of the low-temperature steam having temperature lower than the temperature of the high-temperature steam and supplied from a supply source different from the high-temperature steam and the high-temperature steam to the gland steam portion as the gland steam.
