Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a turbine equipped with a seal device that can reduce a leak flow of a fluid between each stationary vane and a rotor.SOLUTION: A turbine comprises a seal device. The seal device includes: at least one stepped surface which is provided in a region on an outer circumferential surface of a rotor facing a shroud of each stationary vane in a radial direction of the rotor, which faces upstream in a flow direction of a fluid, and which partitions the region on the outer circumferential surface into at least two segments in an axial direction of the rotor; at least two seal fins which protrude from the stationary vane to the at least two segments, and which face the at least two segments each via a seal gap, respectively; and a swirl-component application section which is provided on one end side of the shroud of the stationary vane in the axial direction of the rotor and which can apply a swirl component to the fluid flowing toward the seal cavity.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
