Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a turbo refrigerator enabled to reduce the electric power consumption of an oil heater by lowering the temperature of a lubricant for lubricating a compressor during the stop of a refrigerator, and to suppress the foaming of the lubricant at the starting time of the refrigerator.SOLUTION: A turbo refrigerator comprises: a turbo compressor 1 for compressing a coolant; an oil tank 5 for reserving lubricating oil; and an oil pump 6 for supplying lubricating oil in the oil tank 5 to a sliding part of the turbo compressor 1, and further comprises a control device 20 for controlling the temperature of the lubricating oil in the oil tank 5 on the basis of a relation among the dew point of the coolant, the temperature of the lubricating oil and the solubility of the coolant into the lubricating oil, thereby to change the target value of the solubility at a stop time and a start time of the turbo refrigerator.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
